On August 4, 2022, China Medical College/Hospital Science Hospital Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics (STEM) and 5-year Accumulative Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics(ASTEM) ranking were released officially. West China Hospital, Sichuan University stayed at the top of the overall ranking for consecutive 9 years, and 15 disciplines stayed at the top three positions. Nursing discipline of our school ranked the first on 2021 STEM and  the 5-year ASTEM. So far, nursing discipline of our school has stayed at the top of STEM for consecutive 6 years.

China Hospital Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics focuses on the quality, evaluates scientific and technological output, academic influence, and research conditions of medical schools and hospitals, so that it can reflect the scientific and technological innovation capabilities of medical schools and hospitals comprehensively. 5-year Accumulative Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics(ASTEM) ranking was launched for the first time from this year to reflect the long-term and stable scientific research power of evaluated institutions.
