On July 3rd, Prof. Bridget Yaden，Associate Provost  of Pacific Lutheran University, Director Paul Manfredi of Confucius Institute in Washington State and the delegation visited our school. Professor Gao Wei, Dean of School of Overseas Education, Sichuan University, Dean Li Ka and team of West China School of Nursing, Sichuan University attended the meeting, Professor Wei Xiawei, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, West China School of Medicine/ West China Hospital hosted the meeting.

Dean Li Ka warmly welcomed Associate Provost Bridget Yaden and the delegation, she introduced the history, talent cultivation system and development of disciplinary construction of West China School of Nursing, Sichuan University in recent years, and expressed the hope to promote mutual understanding and cooperation through this exchange.

Associate Provost Bridget Yaden of Pacific Lutheran University introduced the overall situation of the university and nursing talents cultivation, expressed the willingness to establish cooperation relationship with West China School of Nursing ,Sichuan University.

Both sides discussed cooperation in the fields of mutual visit of faculty members and students, joint-supervision and scientific research and reached consensus on the development of the cooperation agreement framework.

The visit of Pacific Lutheran University Delegation promoted mutual understand and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
