To further deepen exchanges and cooperation in nursing and foster high-level nursing talents, faculty members and postgraduate students from the college travelled to Changsha, Hunan Province, from October 25 to 28 to attend the 13th Xiangya International Nursing Academic Conference & the 3rd “Nursing-centered Wisdom·Rising Scientists Forum” , hosted by the Xiangya School of Nursing, Central South University.

Under the theme “AI Empowerd, Innovation Drived,” the conference focused on cutting-edge topics in nursing and the innovative application of digital and intelligent technologies in nursing. It brought together experts and scholars from universities and healthcare institutions in the United States, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, China and other regions to discuss the latest advances in nursing education, scientific research and clinical practice, building a high-level academic exchange and development platform for future scientists in nursing.

One faculty member, ten PhD candidates and three master’s students from the school delivered oral presentations at the conference, sharing research outcomes from West China Nursing. This participation effectively strengthened academic exchanges between the school and peers at home and abroad, and served as a bridge to promote interdisciplinary integration in nursing and the cultivation of high-level talents.
