On July 19, 2022, ShanghaiRanking, a professional evaluation consultancy for high education, officially released the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2022, and the nursing of Sichuan University ranked 76-100 in the global nursing discipline.

ShanghaiRanking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) contains 54 disciplines, involving five fields of Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, MedicineSciences and Social Sciences. The GRAS rankings use a range of objective academic indicators and third-party data to measure the performance of world universities in respective subjects, including international academic awards，research influence , research quality, international collaboration, etc. More than 1,800 out of 5,000 universities across 90 countries and regions are finally listed in the rankings every year.
