On the afternoon of January 9th, West China School of Nursing, Sichuan University - School of Nursing, The University of Hong Kong Remote Meeting was held at Qide Building on the West China Campus. Director Chia-Chin Lin and key teachers of School of Nursing at The University of Hong Kong, Director Wei Xiawei of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, West China School of Medicine/ West China Hospital, Sichuan University, Vice Dean Zhang Fengying and related staff of West China School of Nursing attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Director Wei Xiawei introduced the history of West China School of Medicine/ West China Hospital, Sichuan University, and discipline development of West China School of Nursing, expressed the hope to take this remote meeting as an opportunity to carry out in-depth cooperation and exchange with School of Nursing of The University of Hong Kong.

Director Chia-Chin Lin and Vice Dean Zhang Fengying respectively introduced the development and construction of nursing discipline, and expressed their hope to strengthen cooperation in teachers and students visits and exchanges, talent cultivation, scientific research and other fields. Both sides discussed cooperation in the fields of teachers visits, students short-medium term exchange, scientific research of advantage directions and course construction in depth and reached a consensus on the development of the cooperation agreement framework.

This meeting effectively promoted mutual understanding  and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between two schools.
