On December 26, Professor Wang Li, a State Council Special Allowance Expert at West China Hospital, Sichuan University, visited the West China School of Nursing to deliver a special lecture entitled "How to Lead an Extraordinary Life from Ordinary Beginnings." Nearly 100 faculty and student representatives from the School attended the event.

During the lecture, Professor Wang Li recounted her journey from an overseas study tour to returning to China and leading the development of a national-level platform for new drug safety evaluation. She vividlyshared her experiences of perseverance and innovative breakthroughs in drug researchand development, a field characterized by long development cycles and high risks.Taking her practical experiences such as participating in the development of Chengdu Tianfu International Bio-Town and establishing a preclinical evaluation system that meets international standards as examples, she encouraged nursing students to actively align themselves with the Healthy China initiative, identify meaningful goals within their professional fields, integrate their personal ambitions into the broader context of national development, and compose extraordinary career chapters in ordinary nursing positions.

Through her sincere and inspiring presentation, Professor Wang Li demonstrated the real path from an ordinary starting point to the forefront of the industry, setting a valuable role model for nursing students.
