WCH donates nucleic acid detection kits to Georgia

On the Morning of March 12, West China Hospital of Sichuan University donated nucleic acid detection kits for 1,000 people to the Georgian government.

The donation ceremony was held in the State-owned Assets Commission of Sichuan Province. Director Xu Jin and Vice Director Shen Ruyuan of the State-owned Assets Commission of Sichuan Province, Vice President Yan Shijing of Sichuan University, President Li Weimin of West China Hospital, Director Yuan Hongling of the Europe-Asia Section of Foreign Affairs Office of Sichuan Province, Vice Chair Yu Hua of Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Georgia joined the event.

Mr. Yu Hua said these kits can greatly help Georgia to confirm infected cases in a short period of time and will play an important role in epidemic prevention and control. “I was entrusted by the relevant units of the Georgian government to attend this donation ceremony. We are very moved and grateful. " he said.
