China has sent a medical expert team and humanitarian relief supplies to support Italy in its fight against COVID-19. Prof. Menglin Tang, head nurse of the pediatric intensive care unit in West China Hospital, deputy director of pediatric nursing teaching and research office in West China School of Nursing, is the only nursing specialist in the experts’ team. Prof. Tang and her team said they will mainly provide professional guidance and share experience in together battling the COVID-19 after they arrive in Italy, especially to those in critical conditions, and promote bilateral cooperation in the field of health.
